年度遊戲盛會 The Game Awards 於台灣時間 12/8 於美國洛杉磯舉辦，也在 Youtube 上進行全球串流直播。除了頒發各項獎項之外，也會釋出全新遊戲的預告片。去年的最大獎 Game of the Year 是由《艾爾登法環》抱走。今年，則由《柏德之門 3》、《薩爾達傳說王國之淚》、《漫威蜘蛛人 2》、《心靈殺手 2》、《惡靈古堡 4》和《超級瑪利歐兄弟驚奇》六部作品競逐。The Game Awards 其入圍與獲獎者，是由全球超過 100 家媒體所評選而出。
